About me
I improve the customer experience in aviation, transport, and travel. I’m a collaborative leader with extensive expertise in enhancing accessibility and inclusion in organisations and creating an excellent service for disabled customers. I’m the founder of a boutique consultancy business called Ortegalink Ltd.
Before becoming a full-time consultant, I was a journalist for over 20 years, covering IT, business and current affairs for major German media outlets, mainly news agencies. I was born and raised in Germany and moved to the UK in 2006 to work for the BBC. Later, I founded the only German-language newspaper in the UK. I received an award for this endeavour as “Female Entrepreneur of the Year”.
I have been a wheelchair user since childhood and consider myself an active member of the disability community.
